At plan b fitness we believe in aiming for goals and for many of our clients targeting events, charity races and fun runs are a great way of challenging themselves. There are a host of such events on the calender which are perfect to test out your new-found fitness.

Anaconda Adventure Race - Lorne
2011-12-04The final leg of the Anaconda Adventure Race series at beautiful Lorne in Victoria. Join a plam b team and do one or as many legs as you like. Swim 1.9km, Kayak 13km, Trail Run 15km, Mountain Bike 24km, followed by a 1.5km team run on beach to finish line.

Proclamation Classic
2011-12-28Open water swim at Glenelg. Traditionally 2km and 5km distances but for the first time this year there has been a 1km swim added.

January Boot Camp
2012-01-09The plan b fitness boot camp at Somerton Park kicks off for the year with the January boot camp. Sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6am at Somerton Park beach. It's never too late to join in so enquire now.

2012-01-14Big Red Ride - from Glenelg to Outer Harbour and back. Proceeds raised go to muscular dystrophy.

Ride Like Crazy
2012-01-15Ride Like Crazy 2012 will continue the legacy of helping raise funds to fight cancer. Three distances - 107.05km, 51.24km or 90.82km. Starting at Unley shopping centre and winding through the Adleaide hills. With different distances all can get involved.

Bupa Community Challenge - Tour Down Under
2012-01-20It’s your opportunity to ride in a stage of the Tour Down Under, the same day as the Pro teams. It's a challenge not a race. Four different start locations, the longest event being 138km. There is a distance suitable for most fitness levels. It is also the Ride For A Reason challenge where you can dedicate your ride to someone who has been eafected by cancer and raise money for the great cause.

Brighton Jetty Classic Swim
2012-02-05An open ocean swim over 400m or 1500m (largest in SA). Age group categories in each of the distances. It is about participaiton and achievement. A great event as an introduction to open water swimming.

2012-02-19Three different distances and perfect entry level triathlon series. Compete in either 700m swim + 19.5km bike + 4.8km run (half an Olympic triathlon), or 300m swim + 13km bike + 3km run, or even the 100m swim + 6.5km bike + 1km run. 9am West Lakes.

Victor Harbour Triathlon
2012-03-11Enter a plan b relay team completing one of the legs or complete the event as an indivdual. Swim 1500m, bike 40km, run 10km. A great team event and introduction to an olympic distance triathlon.

Mothers Day Classic fun run
2012-05-13A 4.5km or 7.5km walk or run, raising money for Breast Cancer research and support. A great way to be active with the plan b team while raising much needed funds for the breast cancer association.

Whitsunday Kayaking Adventure
2012-09-01An eight-day kayaking holiday exploring the picturesque Whitsunday Islands. Two nights in resort at Airlie Beach and seven days kayaking and campaign around the islands in this fully catered and guided tour. (date to be confirmed)
